Elice Leung earned a degree in Environmental Horticulture from UC Davis. She previously worked in the Sierra Nevada, managing invasive species and conducting rare and invasive plant surveys. In 2024, she joyfully joined the UC Davis Botanical Conservatory, where she had interned and volunteered as an undergraduate.

At the conservatory, Elice assists with the management and use of all plant collections, including pest control and educational outreach. She enjoys learning new species, observing plants emerge from dormancy, and removing invasive Oxalis. One of her favorite plant genera is Haworthia.
