We are opening ongoing volunteer opportunities at the UCD Botanical Conservatory for next quarter (January-March). This is not just for students and we are excited for members of the general public to help out as well, so tell your friends!
Join us for an informational night on Friday, January 9th at 5pm OR Wednesday, January 14th at 5pm. To volunteer during Winter Quarter you MUST attend one of these sessions, however, there is no obligation to volunteer if you do attend. No need to RSVP; sessions will take place at the conservatory headhouse north of the public greenhouse.
The sessions will cover how things work at the conservatory, safety rules, scheduling, and the different tasks available. These include weeding, plant maintenance, and helping with public tours and events like Biodiversity Day and Picnic Day. We will answer any questions you have about volunteering on these nights.
Please keep in mind parking is not free on weekdays. Lots 26 and 27 are not restricted to employees after 5pm. For more information on visitor parking please visit the TAPS website page for visitors.
